Responder Overview > Dispatcher Tasks and Tools > AMI Events |
Available in Responder Explorer. Requires AMI integration.
After AMI events are received and processed by the Smart Grid Integration Framework, they are processed by Prediction. Just as it does with calls, the enhanced Prediction Engine holds AMI events for a configurable amount of time before processing them. Unprocessed or raw AMI events are stored in the State Cache database and can be viewed by adding a layer to the map.
AMI events are displayed in Responder Explorer and handled just like other types of incidents. The Origination field indicates where the event came from (e.g., AMI, Predicted, User Created). Once Prediction has analyzed and rolled up an AMI event, its origination value will become Predicted.
