Responder Overview > Responder Localization > Localizing Responder XML Files |
Version: 10.2.1a |
You may localize various XML files to modify how some field values are displayed. The ArchiveSchemaConfig.xml and DatabaseSchemaConfig.xml files contain domains. You can modify the Description attributes on the individual domain values to determine how they appear in the user interface.
The ArchiveQueriesConfig.xml and DataQueriesConfig.xml files provide queries for various Archive Explorer and Responder Explorer reports. Any time a queries config file contains a reference to a domain (e.g., Yes/No), the Value attribute must be localized to match the domain in the corresponding schema config file. Currently, the only known instance of this is the Yes/No domain. If you change the domain to be Si/No, for example, then any query using this domain must be set to "Si" or "No" in the corresponding queries config file.
Localize the ControlStylesConfig.xml and ArchiveStylesConfig.xml files to modify Caption and Description attributes for alerts as well as filters and command names.
