Configuring ArcFM Viewer for ArcGIS Engine

Configuration of ArcFM Viewer requires modification of two XML files. The ArcFMViewer.exe.layout file is used to control Esri licensing and ArcFM Solution licensing options as well as available tools and commands. The DatabaseConnections.xml file is used to list the available databases for use with ArcFM Viewer. The individual tools (e.g., tracing, object query locator) are configured just as they would be in ArcFM. Instructions are available in the Configuring ArcFM Solution online help (Configure ArcFM section). ArcFM Trace Tools require additional model names to work with ArcFM Viewer.

Feeder Manager 2.0 and ArcFM Viewer If you configure your data for Feeder Manager 2.0 only, you can view it in ArcFM Viewer for ArcGIS Engine. You will not, however, be able to edit feeder data in mobile sessions. If you do so, the ArcFM Viewer display will not reflect your changes. |
