You can use General Options to determine how to treat children of a compatible unit (CU) that you delete or split.

1. Select Customize > Designer Options > General tab.

2. Indicate the appropriate settings.
   • Delete all its children: will delete all CUs or features associated with a Work Location.
   • Leave spatial children: will leave all features containing spatial information and delete all non-spatial children.
   • Leave all its children: will delete no children. This is the default setting.
3. Click OK.
