Service Permissions

The Smart Grid services should be run by the Responder Services user. Follow the steps below to change the user from the default (Local System) to your Responder Services user.

These services will set their user from their installers. If you used the Responder user during installation, these steps are not required.

In Computer Management expand Services and Applications and select Services.
In the right side of the window, scroll down to the Smartgrid services.
Right-click a Smartgrid service and select Properties.
Select the Log On tab.
Select the radio button next to "This account" and enter the user name/password information for the Responder Services user.
Click OK.
Repeat these steps for each Smartgrid service.
