Network Adapter supports a foundational model for electrical networks that enables export of a feeder from the GIS to a CIM XML. This foundational model is known as the “core CIM model”. This model does not explicitly define the CIM output, as this can vary between implementations. Instead, it provides a framework for CIM entities and relationships. The actual output is defined by the content of the mapping XML.
