An express design needs to be reconciled before it's posted. This function will reconcile the express design's parent version to the current version. 

If necessary, an express design may be reconciled any time after it has been created. If you are using an Access database, no parent version exists. Therefore, the Reconcile button will remain disabled when you are working in a Access database.

1. Open the express design to be reconciled.
2. On the Designer Express Commissioning toolbar in ArcMap, click the Reconcile Design button.
3. You will be prompted to define how to reconcile the design.

4. Click OK.
