Export Map Book or Map Set

Map Production allows you to save map books as images in formats supported by ArcMap using the Export function. You may export by right-clicking a map book or map set in the ArcFM Map Book Editor or ArcFM Map Book Explorer.

In ArcFM Map Book Editor, this option will be disabled if the Apply button is enabled. Click Apply to accept any changes and enable this tool.

If you create a new map book or map set, it must be saved before you can export it. Ensure your map book has been saved.

Select a map set or map book.
Right-click and select Export.
Name the file.
Select a file type.
You may browse to a folder or use the Map Products Option tab of the ArcFM Options to define a default path.
Click Export to save.

The Options feature reveals tabs that allow you to determine settings such as resolution and background color. These settings will vary depending on the type of file you are exporting.
