Water Tracing Step 1: Create Water Domains

There are several domains that may be created to work with Water Tracing. These domains provide the coded values for various functionality within Water Tracing.

While the second and third domains listed below have similar names, they have different field types. When assigning domains to fields, the domains are filtered by field type. So you will never see a domain with a field type of text while viewing a field with a field type of long integer.

Note for Cathodic Protection: Cathodic Protection traces recognize only the following values as non-conductive materials: CI, PVC, AC, WO and CL. If you elect to create a numeric domain, Cathodic Protection will recognize only 2, 3, 4, 6 and 9 as values corresponding to non-conductive material. You may edit the codes and values of this domain, however, only CI (2), PVC (3), AC (4), WO (6) and CL (9) will be recognized as non-conductive. All other values will be considered conductive.
