Mobile Designer

Mobile Designer provides the mobile user with Designer functionality while in the field. The user can receive, create and edit designs, then send them to the enterprise.

Required Licenses in the Field: Designer

Field Databases: Backdrop, Workflow Manager

Designer in the field does not support the use of a Login database. Stored displays and CUs must be stored in the Backdrop.

Perform the following steps to configure Designer in the field.

STEP 1: Set Up Directory Structure

Mobile Directory Permissions

Geodatabase Replication Directory Permissions

Update Replication Service Login

STEP 2: Configure Graphic Annotation

Optional. Perform this configuration if you wish to store graphics in an annotation layer.

STEP 3: Create Backdrop Database

Create/Import Graphic Favorites

Create Login

STEP 4: Create Workflow Manager Databases

Configure Enterprise Process Framework Database

Configure Field Process Framework Database

Import Compatible Units

STEP 5: Create Replicas
