ArcFM Desktop > Designer > Configure Design Optimization > Optional Configurations > Design Optimization - Catalog Builders |
In an earlier step you created the favorites that are used to replace graphic favorites when the design is completed. These parameters allow you to modify the structure of the categories in which these favorites are created. Catalogs are visible in Design Optimization when you select View Device Catalogs under the expanded Design Configuration category. Separate tabs contain the Transformer Catalog, Pedestal Catalog, Secondary Conductors Catalog, and Serviceline Catalog.
Design Optimization builds a list of favorites to create a catalog. These parameters tell Design Optimization where to look for the favorites with which it populates the catalog. An administrator can edit these field values to specify the favorites to be used.
PedestalCatalogBuilder: This property specifies the favorite category Design Optimization reads to compile the list of pedestals in the catalog. By default it looks at Electric Design Optimization\Pedestals. To be added to the catalog, the favorite must exist in the directory indicated by this parameter and have an entry in the MMENG_PEDESTAL (see Update Engineering Tables page).
ConductorCatalogBuilder: This property specifies the favorite category Design Optimization reads to compile the list of secondary and service conductors in the catalog. By default it looks at two different categories: Electric Design Optimization\Service Conductors and Electric Design Optimization\Secondary Conductors. A service conductor is added to the catalog when it exists in the Service Conductors category and has its name added to the SERVICE_FAVORITE_NAME column in the MMENG_CONDUCTOR_ELEC table (see Update Engineering Tables page). Secondary conductors must reside in the Secondary Conductors category and have an entry in the SECONDARY_FAVORITE_NAME column.
TransformerCatalogBuilder: This property specifies the favorite category Design Optimization reads to compile the list of transformers in the catalog. By default it looks at Electric Design Optimization\Transformers. To be added to the catalog, the favorite must exist in the directory indicated by this parameter and have an entry in the MMENG_TRANSFORMER (see Update Engineering Tables page).
