Configure Structural Analysis

ArcFM Structural Analysis allows you to perform "what if" scenarios to evaluate the structural integrity of a support structure and its associated features. The following tables must exist in your geodatabase (see Configuring Analysis Tools). Import them in Access, not ArcCatalog. To enable the Structural Analysis calculations for features in your geodatabase, assign model names below. If you wish to use the Structural Analysis tool as a calculator only (that doesn't use GIS data), these model names are not necessary.

Optional Feature Classes

You may create Loading District and Soil Class polygon feature classes. These feature classes allow users to separate the map into various loading districts or soil classes by placing polygon features. If you choose to create these feature classes, the model names below are required.
