This safety valve in a regulator station is designed to release when the set pressure is exceeded. Relief Valves ensure the system pressure does not exceed the maximum allowable operating pressure of a Distribution System.

ReliefValve inherits characteristics from the abstract class GasDevice.

SetPressureStandard: double -Pressure at which the valve is set to release; in system standard units, usually psi.

SetPressureUnitOfMeasure: text -Units in which pressure is measured within system.
