Total Guy Capacity The value for Total Guy Capacity is imported from the MMENG_GUYCABLESTRENGTH table. Total Load on Guys The Total Load on Guys (bisector) is equal to the Total Transverse Load on Pole as described in the Pole section. The total load on Guys is calculated using the following formula. TG = TC(1..n) / SINa Where: TG = Total load on guys TC(1..n) = Tension of each wire/conductor (1 thru n) from MMENG_CONDTENSION SINa = LG / (HG² + LG²)½ LG = Lead distance from pole (taken from the Guys Grid) HG = Attachment height of guy (taken from the Guys Grid) Guys Grid The Guys Grid displays the properties of guys added through the Add Guy button. A default anchor is also added to the grid which can be changed by right-clicking the guy record and choosing Anchor Properties. Designer will only present appropriate anchors for any given guy. |
