This method returns a long integer that indicates whether conflicts were found and what those conflicts are. The following table shows the possible values that may be returned and how they are interpreted.

| 0 | No conflicts | 
| 1 | Generic Error Code - not supported error code | 
| 11 | Incorrect parameters passed in for the source dataset | 
| 12 | Incorrect parameters passed in for the target dataset | 
| 13 | The versions being compared are not in the same 'family tree' (not an ancestor version being compared) | 
| 14 | The user is not in edit mode | 
| 15 | The current version is not the selected source version | 
| 16 | The developer has chosent to not display the conflict window, and there are conflicts |
