GetService(Type) Method

Gets the requested service.

Parameters

service
The type of service to retrieve.

Return Value

An instance of the service if it could be found, or null if it counld not.
Exceptions
ExceptionDescription
WrongThreadException A WrongThreadException will be thrown if attempting to retrieve a COM service type from an MTA thread.
Requirements

Target Platforms: Windows XP SP3 (32-bit and 64-bit), Windows 7 (32-bit and 64-bit)
