Equals(DeviceInfo) Method

Compares two devices for equality

Parameters

obj: Device to compare

Return Value

true if both devices are considered the same.false otherwise

Remarks

The algorithm starts by comparing FCID and OID. If those are equal, it then compares EID. If either of the two devices have unknown EID (0 currently), we ignore the EID. If we still have not found differences, we then examine the SubID. Here both 0 and -1 are currently valid representation of null and considered equal.
